Louise Diggle

We are in a state of continuous flux and motion; nothing stays the same. The sun turns, light changes, crowds move on and activities flow. Louise’s work is primarily concerned with the transient moment – the ever changing colours, light, weather and, above all, the sense of being in one particular place. She always works on the spot and mainly in pastel which suits the fleeting passage of time.

Louise studied at the City and Guilds of London Art School and Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology. Current projects include iconic London in different seasons and life on the Thames. She is a member of the Small Paintings Group and is on the council of the Chelsea Art Society
